You know Spring has sprung when bags of compost start arriving into our Gillingham Business Park nursery!
We have also bought seeds, carrots, herbs, lettuce, peas, beans and ever popular sweet corn. Our Preschool children have been busy digging, planting and getting messy this morning. They also asked for raspberries and it was hard to explain why we can’t grow them from seeds. Maybe we should buy a couple of bushes to have raspberries for the children when the next season comes as it might be too late for this spring.
Who would have thought that the end of March could generate 20.5C temperatures?!
